Carer Section

When a family member develops diabetes, it affects the entire family. You want to do all you can to help your loved one manage his or her diabetes. The more you know about the disease, the greater the understanding and support you can provide. This area of the Accu-Chek site will help you learn about the physical, emotional and social impact that diabetes has on an adult, child, a spouse and a parent.

As a caregiver, you play a key role in your family member's diabetes management. When you walk out the door together, you reach for juice boxes and snacks as readily as you reach for your wallet and car keys. We hope this area of the site will give you the knowledge to gain even more confidence in your role.
