Accu-Chek Softclix Plus Finger Pricker

IMPORTANT: For single patient use only

Not for use in a multi-patient environment (i.e in nursing homes)

The lancing device can either be detached from the Compact Plus meter using the release button, or used whilst still attached.

1. Remove the end cap from the lancing device

2. Slide a new lancet into the lancet holder and push it in until it clicks into place.

3. Remove the protective cap from the lancet wtih a twisting motion.

4. Press the end cap back on the finger pricker. The cap snaps into place with a click.

5. Twist the cap to the required depth setting (11 settings in total - 0.8 - 2.3mm).

6. Press the top of the finger pricker down. The finger pricker is now primed.

7. Place the finger pricker against the chosen site, press the top of the finger pricker down again until it clicks

8. To replace the lancet, remove the end cap and gntly press the end of the finger pricker down to release the lancet

To reduce the risk of infection, never share your finger pricker with anyone
