Three ‘scarily good’ healthier halloween treats

This Halloween, why not try fruit and veg-inspired spooky snacks?

  1. Pumpkin sweet potato crisps. Use a pumpkin-shaped biscuit cutter (easily bought online) to cut sweet potato shapes and bake with a drizzle of olive oil, cinnamon and pinch of salt.
  2. 'Ghost' bananas. Slice bananas in half and dot with melted dark chocolate to create ‘startled’ eyes and mouth. (So simple, but surprisingly effective!)
  3. Orange pumpkins. Peel an orange and add a length of celery through the centre. Voila – pumpkin plus authentic-looking stalk!
