Data logging

With all the craziness of daily life, it's natural to forget entering a logbook entry from time to time. Our mySugr challenges can help your patients get going again.

Rookie

For newbie loggers, we reccomend the 'Rookie' challenge first, because it's easy and quick, and helps users get to know the mySugr app in a snap! "Rookie" rewards users with 50 points each day they enter their diabetes data in the mySugr app. This challenge eases them in gently and rewards them for getting started, just what they need when it comes to building a diabetes routine.

Getting active

Let’s face it, diabetes or no diabetes, finding the motivation to work out can be tricky. Let the mySugr challenges give your patients that extra boost, so they can can become more active!

Sweat it

"Sweat it" is a great challenge that gets your patients moving. Users have one week to log an activity lasting at least one hour on three different days.

Keeping blood glucose in range?

No Hitter

Keeping blood glucose in range can be a crazy ride. Let challenges like "No Hitter" keep your patients motivated. With this challenge, users will need to check their blood glucose at least three times in 12 hours and log diligently. When they keep their blood glucose in their target range they'll beat the challenge!

Blood'n'Breakfast

Challenges like "Blood'n'Breakfast" will help your patients learn from their diabetes data, so they can keep their blood glucose in check in future. "Blood'n'Breakfast" gets users to do a blood glucose check along with their morning meal (don’t forget the breakfast tag!) and then another check a couple of hours later, helping them learn where their post-breakfast blood glucose belongs.

2. Collecting points for each log entry

All that logging your patients are doing deserves a reward. That’s why the mySugr app allows users to collect points every day. Users get points for each action they take to care for themself.

Let’s break it down. In the mySugr app, users get 1 Point for things like Tags, extra pictures, pills, notes, and meal tags. 2 Points for meal entry, location, description of meal, blood pressure, the list goes on! And 3 Points for uploading their first picture, activity, activity description…

Collecting points in the app gives users a real sense of achievement. Everything they enter earns them some recognition in the form of points. The goal is to hit 50 points per day and tame their monster!

3. The mySugr diabetes Monster

Our mySugr app also provides users with their very own giggling diabetes Monster. Users can name their Monster whatever they like (in the profile settings)! Their Monster will react to every log entry with a comment or sound, adding a little bit of fun to their diabetes management. If their Monster gets too noisy they can always turn the sounds off.
