Can the Accu-Chek 360° software be used on a Mac?

Accu-Chek 360° software is not currently compatible with Apple systems.

On which Windows operating systems can the Accu-Chek 360° software be installed?

Operating systems supported are Windows XP Professional, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10.

Is the Accu-Chek 360° software compatible with Windows 10?

The Accu-Chek 360° software versions up to v2.2.1 are not compatible with Windows 10. Only v2.2.2 and onwards are compatible with Windows 10. Please contact the Accu-Chek Customer Careline if you require an upgrade.

Is the Accu-Chek 360° software compatible with iPad, iPhone or other tablets?

No, it is not. The Accu-Chek 360° software is a Windows desktop application.

What are the minimum system requirements to install the Accu-Chek 360° software?

To run the Accu-Chek 360° diabetes management system software, the computer system must have at least:

  • IBM® and Intel®-compatible PC; 600 MHz or higher Pentium® compatible processor
  • 2 GB RAM; 5GB of available hard drive space
  • Windows® 7,8, 10, Windows Vista™, Windows® XP with Service Pack 3, Windows Server® 2008 R2, Windows Server® 2008, or Windows Server® 2003
  • CD-ROM drive; keyboard and mouse or compatible pointing device; available USB port
  • Minimum display resolution of 1024 x 768; 16-bit colors

Which types of blood glucose meters are supported on the Accu-Chek 360° diabetes management software system?

The Accu-Chek 360° software up to version 2.1 is compatible with:

  • Accu-Chek Aviva Nano meter
  • Accu-Chek Mobile meter
  • Accu-Chek Aviva meter
  • Accu-Chek Aviva Expert meter
  • Accu-Chek Combo insulin pump system
  • Accu-Chek Spirit insulin pump
  • Accu-Chek Smart Pix device reader 

Version 2.1 onwards additionally supports: 

  • Accu-Chek Insight meter and insulin pump
  • Accu-Chek Performa Nano meter

How can the data be backed up?

Use the ‘Tools->Export’ functionality for creating a backup. Please remember to store your exported data file to a safe location.

How can information from the Accu-Chek 360° software be shared with healthcare professionals?

Reports can be printed out or sent via email.

Where is the Accu-Chek 360° software ‘activation code’ located?

The activation code can be found on the sticker on the back of the DVD case.

What steps should be taken when moving the software to a different computer?

Export (Tools->Export) the data from the old system and save it somewhere. Then install the software on the new computer. Then import (Tools->Import) the saved data.

Can healthcare professionals automatically see the downloaded data?

No, the data is not sent automatically. Reports can be printed or emailed to healthcare professionals, or the meter can be taken to appointments for them to download the data to their system.

Why is the meter download not working?

There may be many reasons, please check the following conditions: 

  1. Is the Accu-Chek 360° software installed and running?
  2. Is the reader/cable connected to the computer USB drive firmly?
  3. Place the meter in front of the reader, so that the infrared windows are facing each other. They should be about 2-4 inches apart. Turn the meter on in data transfer mode. Check the meter’s User Manual to find out how.
  4. The meter batteries may need replacing. 

If all of the above conditions are met, data transfer should start automatically. Please contact the Accu-Chek Customer Careline if the issue persists.

Does the Accu-Chek 360° diabetes management system software require a separate cable?

A USB cable for Accu-Chek Mobile can be ordered free of charge via the Accu-Chek Customer Careline. A Realtyme cable which supports infrared communication can also be ordered.

Are there any mobile apps to download meter data?

No, there is no separate app for the Accu-Chek 360° software on phones and tablets.
