Patient health and safety is our primary concern at Roche Diabetes Care and we aim to support people with diabetes, caregivers and healthcare professionals with daily therapy management in every way we can.
Following the National Patient Safety Alert issued by the MHRA on 26th May 2022 relating to the NovoRapid® PumpCart® in the Roche Accu-Chek Insight insulin pump (NatPSA/2022/004/MHRA), Roche Diabetes Care is offering to buy back the remaining warranty of any Accu-Chek Insight pump where risk assessments have been conducted and clinical care decisions have been made to move patients on to suitable therapy alternatives.
To ensure that the correct value of the warranty buy back can be calculated, healthcare professionals are asked to provide the required information for each individual Accu-Chek Insight pump that will be returned following the patient risk assessments.
Upon completion, a returns pack will be provided to return the Accu-Chek Insight pump(s) free of charge.
Once the Accu-Chek Insight pump has been returned to us, the warranty buy back value will be paid to the warranty holder.

The serial number for the Accu-Chek Insight pump begins with the number 3 and is eight numbers long. It can be found on the back of the pump, for example: [S/N] 31000000

A new warranty buy back form must be completed for each Accu-Chek Insight pump that will be returned.
Once you have completed a warranty buy back form for the Accu-Chek Insight pumps you wish to return, please contact our Customer Careline on 0800 731 2291** and select option one (Monday to Friday from 8am - 6pm, excluding bank holidays). You will be asked to confirm the serial numbers of the pumps to be returned and an appropriate sized returns pack will be sent to you.
